chromakey
Color-based video compositing
Chromakey is a video technique that replaces a specific color—usually bright green or blue—with another image or background.
The subject performs in front of a colored screen, which is then digitally removed in post-production: The weather forecaster stands in front of a chromakey screen.
Also called green screen or blue screen.
The verb means to apply this technique: We'll chromakey you into the scene.
