cherry pitter
Stone fruit tool
A cherry pitter is a kitchen tool designed to remove the pit from a cherry while leaving the fruit mostly intact.
Most have a plunger mechanism that pushes the stone out through the bottom: I processed three pounds of cherries with the pitter.
Also called a cherry stoner.
