change history
Modify the record
Change history is a record of modifications made to a document, file, or system over time.
In software and document management, the change history tracks who altered what and when, allowing users to review previous versions or revert to earlier states: Check the change history to see who deleted that paragraph.
The term also appears in version control systems where developers trace code modifications.
