Castors are small swiveling wheels attached to the legs or base of furniture, allowing it to be moved easily: The desk chair rolled smoothly on its castors.

Separately, castor is a variant spelling of the beaver-derived substance castoreum, and castor oil is a vegetable oil used as a laxative and lubricant—though that castor has a different origin.
