cargo strap
Freight fastening band
A cargo strap is a strong, adjustable band—typically nylon webbing with a ratchet or cam buckle mechanism—used to secure loads during transport.
Cargo straps hold items in place on trucks, trailers, roof racks, and flatbeds: Make sure to tighten the cargo straps before we hit the highway.
Also called tie-down straps or ratchet straps.
