A card show is an event where collectors gather to buy, sell, and trade trading cards—typically sports cards, but also cards featuring entertainment properties or gaming.
Dealers set up tables with inventory ranging from vintage rarities to recent releases.
Card shows offer opportunities to find deals, get items authenticated, and meet other collectors: I picked up a rookie card at the card show for half what it goes for online.
