carboys
Wicker-cradled vessels
Carboys are large, rigid containers used for storing and transporting liquids, typically chemicals or drinking water.
Usually made of glass or plastic, a carboy holds several gallons and often has a narrow neck: The lab kept sulfuric acid in glass carboys.
Home brewers use plastic carboys for fermenting beer and wine.
