cantonal

Relating to subdivisions

Cantonal means relating to or divided into cantons—administrative districts, especially those of Switzerland.

Switzerland's twenty-six cantons each have their own constitution and government, so cantonal often appears in discussions of Swiss politics: cantonal elections, cantonal law.

The word applies to any canton-based division but is rarely used outside Swiss contexts.
