candlestick chart
Price movement diagram
A candlestick chart displays price movements over time, used primarily in financial trading.
Each "candlestick" shows four data points for a period: opening price, closing price, high, and low.
The body indicates whether prices rose (typically green or white) or fell (red or black).
Traders read patterns in the candlesticks to predict future price movements: The candlestick chart showed a bearish engulfing pattern.
