A calendar alert is a notification from a digital calendar reminding you of an upcoming event or appointment.
Most calendar apps let you set alerts minutes, hours, or days in advance: I set a calendar alert for fifteen minutes before the meeting.
Multiple alerts can be stacked for important events you don't want to miss.
