bulling

Heifer estrus behavior

Bulling has two main senses.

In finance, bulling is aggressively pushing prices or markets upward—acting as a bull who expects prices to rise: They were bulling the stock all morning.

In agriculture, bulling describes a cow in heat, showing readiness to mate: The heifer's been bulling since yesterday.

The verb can also mean to force through obstacles with bull-like determination: He bulled his way through the crowd.
