body shield
Deflects incoming attacks
A body shield is a large protective barrier held in front of the body, typically used by police or military during riots or tactical operations.
The term also describes using a person as physical cover against attack—a hostage held as a body shield, or a soldier grabbing an enemy combatant to block incoming fire.
