blog roll
Recommended sites sidebar
A blog roll is a list of links to other blogs, typically displayed in a sidebar, representing sites the blogger reads or recommends.
Common in the early blogging era as a form of community building and mutual promotion: I found her site through someone's blog roll.
The practice has declined as social media replaced personal blogs.
