block vote
Unified group decision
A block vote is a voting system where a single delegate casts all the votes for a group they represent, rather than members voting individually.
Common in labor unions and political conventions, where a union leader or delegation head delivers votes as a unified bloc: The union's block vote swung the convention.
Also called bloc voting.
