blind test
Anonymous product comparison
A blind test is an evaluation where participants don't know key information that might influence their judgment—typically which product, treatment, or option they're assessing.
In a single-blind test, subjects are unaware; in a double-blind test, neither subjects nor administrators know which is which until results are collected.
The method removes bias from comparisons: We did a blind test of five wines to see which people actually preferred.
