bleach treatment
Chemical lightening process
A bleach treatment is the process of lightening hair using chemical bleach, typically hydrogen peroxide mixed with an alkaline agent.
The treatment strips natural pigment from hair, preparing it for coloring or leaving it blonde: My bleach treatment took three hours at the salon.
Also applies to similar whitening processes for teeth, skin, or fabrics.
