bibless

Lacking chest covering

Bibless describes someone or something without a bib—the protective garment worn over the chest, typically by infants during feeding or by adults in certain work contexts.

A bibless baby at mealtime is likely to end up with food all over their clothes.

The term also applies to overalls or aprons that lack the chest-covering panel: bibless overalls are just regular pants with extra pockets.
