bayberries
Candle wax source
Bayberries is the plural of bayberry, a North American shrub bearing small, waxy, grayish-white berries.
The wax coating these berries has traditionally been used to make fragrant candles: bayberry candles at Christmas.
The term may also refer to the berries of the bay laurel tree.
