barebow
Bow without sights
Barebow is a style of archery using a bow stripped of modern accessories—no sights, stabilizers, or arrow rests beyond the basic shelf.
The discipline emphasizes traditional skill and instinctive aiming: She shoots barebow in competition.
Barebow has gained recognition as a distinct category in competitive archery, separate from recurve and compound divisions.
