bankcard
Wallet's magnetic rectangle
A bankcard is a card issued by a bank that allows the holder to access funds or credit.
The term covers both debit cards, which draw directly from a checking or savings account, and credit cards, which allow borrowing against a line of credit.
I left my bankcard at the restaurant and had to go back for it.
The word is somewhat dated, as most people now specify debit card or credit card.
