ball pythons
Coiling pet reptiles
Ball pythons are a species of constrictor snake native to West and Central Africa, popular as pets for their docile temperament and manageable size.
They get their name from their defensive behavior of curling into a tight ball when threatened.
Also called royal pythons.
Ball pythons are good beginner snakes because they're calm and don't grow too large.
