An audioblog is a blog presented in audio format rather than text—essentially a series of recorded posts.
The term emerged in the early 2000s as podcasting technology developed, though podcast has largely replaced it.
Some audioblogs function as audio diaries: She started an audioblog to document her cross-country road trip.
