astrophotographers
Night sky documenters
Astrophotographers are people who photograph celestial objects and astronomical phenomena—stars, planets, galaxies, nebulae, eclipses.
The practice requires specialized equipment and techniques to capture objects too faint or distant for ordinary photography: Astrophotographers waited hours for the clouds to clear.
