artistic community
Where creators gather
An artistic community is a group of artists, often in a particular place or scene, who share creative interests and support each other's work.
The term can describe a physical neighborhood where artists congregate—Greenwich Village was once a thriving artistic community—or a looser network connected by medium, style, or sensibility: the artistic community rallied around the censored photographer.
