open studio
Public workshop visit
An open studio is an event where artists invite the public into their working spaces to view art and meet the creators.
Often coordinated across a neighborhood or city, open studios let visitors see works in progress, understand artistic processes, and purchase directly from artists: The annual open studio weekend drew thousands of visitors to the arts district.
