gallery tours
Guided art walks
Gallery tours are guided walks through art museums or exhibition spaces, led by docents or curators who explain the works on display.
Museums offer them on schedules or by appointment: The gallery tour starts at two o'clock.
The term extends to any guided viewing of displayed items—real estate agents give gallery tours of homes, wineries of their facilities.
