aperture priority
Depth-of-field mode
Aperture priority is a camera setting where the photographer selects the aperture (lens opening size) and the camera automatically adjusts shutter speed for proper exposure.
This gives control over depth of field—how much of the image appears in focus—while the camera handles the rest: I shoot in aperture priority when I want blurred backgrounds for portraits.
