ancestral memory
Blood-borne knowledge passed
Ancestral memory is the idea that memories, instincts, or knowledge from one's ancestors can be inherited biologically rather than learned.
The concept appears in psychology (Jung's collective unconscious), fiction (characters accessing ancestors' experiences), and some spiritual traditions.
Scientific support is limited, though epigenetics has revived interest in how ancestral experiences might influence descendants: She felt an ancestral memory stirring when she visited her grandmother's village.
