alienations
Severed social bonds
Alienations is the plural of alienation, the state of being estranged or disconnected.
The word appears in discussions of social isolation, psychological detachment, or philosophical displacement: Marx wrote about the alienations workers experience under capitalism.
In law, alienation refers to transferring property ownership, so alienations would be multiple such transfers.
