alcometer
Blood alcohol measurer
An alcometer is a device for measuring alcohol content, either in a liquid (like wine or beer during production) or in a person's breath.
The breath-testing type is more commonly called a breathalyzer: The officer used an alcometer to check the driver's blood alcohol level.
