airtightness
Complete seal quality
Airtightness is the quality of being sealed against air passage.
In construction, airtightness measures how well a building envelope prevents uncontrolled air leakage: The home's airtightness was tested with a blower door.
The term extends from the literal sense of airtight—a container or seal that lets no air in or out.
