aerobars
Cyclist's forward position
Aerobars are handlebar extensions on a bicycle that allow the rider to lean forward with forearms resting on pads, creating a more aerodynamic position.
Common in time trials and triathlons, they reduce wind resistance by tucking the body into a narrower profile: She installed aerobars on her road bike for the race.
