About the author is a standard section in books, articles, and online content that provides biographical information about the writer.
It typically appears at the end of a piece or on a book's back cover, offering credentials, previous works, and sometimes personal details: The about the author section mentioned she lived in Vermont with two cats.
On websites, it often includes a photo and links to the author's other work.
