Zoidberg
Zoidberg is a character from the animated series *Futurama*—a lobster-like alien who serves as the incompetent staff doctor at Planet Express.
His name has become shorthand for comical ineptitude, especially professional incompetence despite supposed credentials: Our IT guy is a total Zoidberg.
The character is known for his catchphrase "Why not Zoidberg?" which circulates as an internet meme suggesting oneself as an unlikely candidate.
