West Africans
Ghana, Senegal natives
West Africans are people from the western region of Africa, encompassing countries along the Atlantic coast and inland areas from Senegal to Nigeria.
The term covers diverse ethnic groups, languages, and cultures united by geography rather than homogeneity: West Africans have contributed enormously to American music.
It functions as both a demographic label and a cultural identifier.
