Wally World

Blue-vested retail giant

Wally World is slang for Walmart, the American retail chain.

The nickname comes from the fictional amusement park in the 1983 film *National Lampoon's Vacation*, where the Griswold family's disastrous destination was called Walley World.

The name transferred to Walmart, playing on the similar sound: I need to make a quick run to Wally World.
