Tornado Alley
America's funnel zone
Tornado Alley is the informal name for a swath of the central United States particularly susceptible to tornadoes, stretching from Texas through the Great Plains.
The capitalized form treats it as a proper regional name: Tornado Alley sees peak activity in spring and early summer. (Lowercase tornado alley is the generic term.)
