The Muppet Show
A variety television program that aired from 1976 to 1981, featuring Jim Henson's puppet characters performing comedy sketches and musical numbers with celebrity guests.
The show's format—a chaotic backstage theater hosted by Kermit the Frog—became iconic, and The Muppet Show often refers broadly to the Muppets franchise: My kids are obsessed with The Muppet Show.
