Smash Mouth
Nineties pop-rockers
Smash Mouth is an American rock band formed in 1994, best known for their 1999 hit "All Star," which became ubiquitous after its inclusion in the animated film *Shrek*.
The song's upbeat, ironic optimism made it a meme staple and cultural touchstone: Every party eventually plays "All Star".
The band exemplifies late-90s pop rock.
