Silence of the Lambs

Psychiatric horror classic

Silence of the Lambs is a 1988 Thomas Harris novel and its acclaimed 1991 film adaptation, in which FBI trainee Clarice Starling consults imprisoned cannibal psychiatrist Hannibal Lecter to catch a serial killer.

The title refers to a childhood trauma Starling recounts.

The phrase evokes psychological horror and the uneasy alliance between hunter and monster: It's giving Silence of the Lambs vibes.
