Scott Pilgrim
Scott Pilgrim is a comic book series by Bryan Lee O'Malley, later adapted into a cult film and video game.
The story follows a slacker musician in Toronto who must defeat his new girlfriend's seven evil exes.
The name has become shorthand for a certain type of aimless twenty-something guy, often with implications of immaturity or romanticizing one's own mediocrity: He's such a Scott Pilgrim—plays bass badly and thinks he's the main character.
