Redeemer
Salvation's central figure
The Redeemer is a title for Jesus Christ in Christian theology, referring to his role in saving humanity from sin through his death and resurrection.
The term appears in hymns, prayers, and religious discourse: Christ the Redeemer, my Lord and Redeemer.
The famous statue in Rio de Janeiro bears this name. (Lowercase redeemer is anyone who redeems.)
