Pawn Stars

Secondhand shop show

Pawn Stars is an American reality television series that premiered in 2009 on the History Channel, following the daily operations of a Las Vegas pawn shop.

The show features negotiations between staff and customers bringing in items to sell or pawn, with much of its appeal coming from the appraisal of unusual objects and the haggling over prices.

I learned about Civil War memorabilia from watching Pawn Stars.

The phrase "best I can do" became a meme associated with the show's frequent lowball offers.
