Paris-Brest
Bicycle-inspired French pastry
A Paris-Brest is a French pastry made of choux dough formed into a ring, filled with praline-flavored cream, and topped with sliced almonds and powdered sugar.
Created in 1910 to commemorate the Paris–Brest–Paris bicycle race, the ring shape represents a wheel: We split a Paris-Brest for dessert.
