Palin

Palin is a surname, most notably associated with Sarah Palin, the American politician who served as Governor of Alaska and was the 2008 Republican vice-presidential nominee.

Her candidacy made the name synonymous with a certain populist conservative style.

Michael Palin, the British comedian and travel documentarian from Monty Python, shares the name but occupies a different cultural space entirely.
