Night King
Undead winter ruler
The Night King is the primary antagonist in the HBO television series *Game of Thrones*—an ancient, undead being who commands the army of the dead and White Walkers.
He represents an existential threat beyond human political conflicts, capable of raising the fallen as wights with a gesture.
The character has become shorthand for an ultimate evil or apocalyptic force: Climate change is the Night King of our generation.
