Mongolian barbecue
Build-your-own stir-fry
Mongolian barbecue is a style of restaurant where diners select raw ingredients—meat, vegetables, sauces—from a buffet and watch cooks stir-fry them on a large flat griddle.
Despite the name, it originated in Taiwan, not Mongolia, and has little connection to Mongolian cuisine.
We went to that Mongolian barbecue place where you build your own bowl.
