Mandela Day
Service celebration day
Mandela Day is an annual international observance on July 18, Nelson Mandela's birthday, encouraging people to devote 67 minutes to community service—one minute for each year Mandela spent fighting for social justice.
The day honors his legacy of reconciliation and humanitarian work: Our office volunteered at a food bank for Mandela Day.
