Korean War veterans
Forgotten conflict fighters
Korean War veterans are those who served in the military during the Korean War (1950–1953), a conflict between North and South Korea in which U.S. and other United Nations forces intervened.
Sometimes called "the forgotten war," it sits between World War II and Vietnam in American memory, and its veterans have historically received less public recognition than those of either conflict.
