Jewish traditions
Synagogue heritage practices
Jewish traditions are the religious practices, customs, and cultural observances passed down through generations of Jewish people.
These include ritual observances like keeping the Sabbath, dietary laws (kosher), holiday celebrations (Passover, Hanukkah, Yom Kippur), and lifecycle ceremonies such as circumcision, bar and bat mitzvahs, and traditional weddings.
The phrase encompasses both religious law and folk customs that vary among Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, and secular Jewish communities: Their family maintains Jewish traditions even though they're not observant.
